Somkey engine bay

Hi! fella. Today I was checking out my car, I start the engine and poped the hood. I was checking the brake oil. All in a sudden I saw really thin smoke come out from the back of the engine by the firewall. I shut it off then start it again after maybe 2 min. smoke coming out again. Then i took it for a spin. come back i waited almost 5 mins. but no more smoke. Is that possible that smoke cause by a leaky oil pan? The smoke is really thin, i can't tell what color it is. Thanks

You have a leak (oil, coolant, fuel) and it's getting on to something hot, like the exhaust. You'll need to tear into it and find the source.

i believe is the oil pedestal leak. i saw oil around the filter and power steering reservoir. I will double check today. if it is the oil pedestal leak, is that hard to fix?
