There is a quickie method of going non-sequential and you can go back. Not sure how to do it though. Best advice is to drive a car that is non-seq. - you won't like it at first - you have to downshift more and there is some lag down low - but it pull like a freight train from like 3500 rpms on - no annoying switchover - i miss the sequentials but I'd never go back though.
