Polishing Aluminzed Steel?

I recently welded up an exhaust with 3" aluminized steel and I want to polish the tip that is protruding. I was wondering if you can polish aluminized steel? I dont care all that much how it looks as I am going to replace it later, but can I polish it and if so how, if its easy I will go ahead and do it so I get a little bling till I change things later down the road? Otherwise I will wait and just go stainless steel.

Q, you can polish it up with Mothers Alum Polish, Seapower marine polish(for boat railings) or steel wool. PM me.
