Pics of OEM ECU mounted (removal/install)?

I was about to mount my PFC using the OEM brackets which requires drilling and tapping the frame but I have the tools for that. It's been so long I can't remember where the brackets go or the position of the ECU. Can someone post some pics that I can go by? thank you & merry new year.

I don't recall any drilling or tapping. You can Velcro the PFC to the top and bottom stock ECU brackets.

I have pictures here (third and fourth from the top). You can optionally cut the top bracket around the PFC boost kit socket but that is all the hacking I recall.

oh cool, now I know what that that curved metal part is (wire loom cover). I didn't want to velcro. I wanted to screw it on just like stock. I just realized it will take some cutting for 2-bar map sensor and drilling for the commander on the top bracket. Thanks for the pics!

If you look at the lower bracket you can see that it has two 'tracks' for the bolts so that its can be moved up or down and secured in position. It can be raised clamp the PFC into position against the top bracket - the Velcro is just to keep the PFC from sliding out. The stock ECU has tapped holes to secure it to the brackets, which the PFC does not have.

Yeah, just use the supplied Velcro to attach to the stock ECU mount. I just used the lower one - I wasn't sure about it at first, but it works great, and it's SO much easier to get the ECU out of the way when I need to do wiring work.

I used Velcro to mount mine. Very solid (meaning no issues). Just make sure you clean the area where the Velcro is mounted with alcohol. I also cut out a small piece of the top bracket (in pic) to be able to plug in the Commander. See attached pic. Good luck!

FWIW, I used a combination of Velcro and 3M copper-foil tape, in order to insure a good ground.
