here's a quick photoshop (on a lame pic) of how the rx-8 headlights would look like. Shape is almost the same but size is still unknown to me. 99spec on the right and rx-8 on the left

I do believe it is illegal now actually. If the housing wasnt manufactured from the factory for HID's, IE projectors. Most places don't do anything about it, but texas has been cracking down on it. I got a ticket in my Trans am in Killeen for having HID's without projectors and HIDs in my fogs. tons of people moved out here to El Paso and are getting tickets now. good business for me lol.
o and DeeSan. That doesnt look all that bad. Nota lot different than the 99 spec light, but i bet the rx8 lights are DEEP compared to the lights on the 99spec.

also why do so many 7 guys hate the 8? i understand its not the performer the 7 is, but at the same time its never claimed to be. (has it?) and its not like the rotary has been strictly a sports car motor, been in trucks and sedans also. is it the "back seats/doors" the majority of cars in this segment have a back seat, and the doors make access to the back seat convenient and don't take away from the coupe appeal.
the style is defiantly different, but consider most automakers have a drastic differences from mid 90s to now. and imo its the best looking in its segment.
overall its not a replacement for the fd (but there really isnt one under $100k (mild exaggeration)), but would make a great daily driver.
just my 2 cents. continue thread.

Figured i'd jump in on this photoshop kick... i've been playing with the idea of wrapping the bottom lip of my burnout front bumper and yesterday I cracked it so i photoshopped what it would look like with dark carbon wrap... i think it looks pretty sick, thoughts?

Your car must be a bully on the track... It looks so bad ***...... I would pull over if that thing was screaming behind me.

Also in agreement. (tho would go with a non-carbon material for the wrap) I'm no body guy/know what's possible or not, but have always thought those skirts would look better if the top edge were somehow molded to the body as well, as in if there weren't a line where the two met.
