my project pics...coming along nicely
i bought this car less than a year ago for 4500 bucks...the right side of the car was totally smashed in and need tons of work..the engine was a rebuild with 12k miles on it..after 1k dollars of body work the car looked new again...except for the big primer spot on the right side..so i now have full three inch exhaust, black racing seats, dyed my tan carpet black..have boost and a/f guages, rims, type 2 wing and a little project im piecing together...tell me what you guys think..also should i keep it white?

thats the left side, technically. Is that the side that was smashed? If so, it looks fine in the pics. The front bumper looks slightly off, but they often do because they are plastic. It has a slight bluish tint to it. Keep the white, by the way. It looks good with those wheels.

you found a diamond in the dirt if there was only a g worth of damage... good find looks real nice for the price. im assuming there wasnt any frame damage if it only cost a stack to fix the damage?

You've done very well. Very nice car, nice rims, nice wing. White was one of the rarest colors, keep it white!
And if you realy want to change the color then do it tastefully, as in no pink, purple or any of the other extravagant colors.
Black with a blue tint, Silver or Titanium Metallics, Innocent Blue Mica come to my mind as excellent choices but it is all a matter of personal taste.
Make sure you go all the way and have the engine bay painted too. That means you'll have to pull the motor and all wiring, and etc.
Good work & good luck on your project!
