How do I verify if a new motor was installed?
I'm going to test drive another RX7 today and I just wanted to hear you guys out on this. What is the best way to verify visually that the engine was pulled/reinstalled. Are there any common things rerouted, removed that any average joe would do when reinstalling? I spoke with the owner already and it sounded legit. He said he had all of the reciepts. It only worries me because the price is a little low ($11,000) but I havn't seen the body condition yet. He also did a 5 speed swap from an auto. Let me know what you guys think

I would verified the motor by doing a compression test. You could also check the block to see if it's clean cause most of the time the housing and iron needs to be clean before installing. Also like me you could tell the motor has recent rebuilt by the silicone on the oilpan cause I put alot of it to make sure no leaks. My .02
