does anyone got a link to the illustrated way to take apart the magnetic switch of the starter?

from what i see from mines, you just take off the two bolts, take out the plunger which is kinda hooked to the plastic fork which throws out the shaft to spin the engine and then take out the spring underneath that. is there another peice that fell out or something that im missing? when i took mines apart today and put it back together, the darn thing just does not work anymore. there is continuity (sp?) between the S terminal and the body. it does seem to work without the spring in but when i put the spring back in, it does not pull and in turn push out the starter shaft. (note: it does not suck the shaft back in after the magnetic switch throws it out because there is no spring. it does seem to have a fairly strong pull/throw when i jump the starter's s terminal as i cant push it back in. when i put that weak spring back in, it just will not throw/pull)
