A/C compressor removal

I'm ready to remove the air conditioning compressor, all I can see is two maybe three bolts. Does anyone know how many there are for sure? Looks like a bitch to remove, in some ways......no clearance for sockets or wrenches.

There is two more bolts underneath. Just follow it along down the two bolts on top. Use a socket and short extension.

This job is actually more difficult then it seems. Yeah there are four bolts total, and the lower two are really difficult to get to. Your basically gonna be feeling for them, and then you have to start backing them out with a socket, and switch to wrench because the socket will get jammed.

Just keep at it, they're down there.

Thanks Steve....that confirmed my worst fear, after seeing the lack of clearance...sigh.
If there is ONE thing I hate whilst working on cars, it is coming across bolts/nuts that are in nearly impossible places, or ones that you can turn about 1/32nd of a turn at a time, taking 10 minutes to back the damned thing off!
