(currently at work so didn't look too deep into forums)
Well it's been a while since I've been here.
The last time I was active on the forums I was 17-18 and stupid😂 I bought a rare 12A Turbo engine with no patience, money, or knowledge, and basically wasted it. (Someone eventually bought it and I hope they put it to good use.)
Now I think I'm ready for a project.
I have 5 years+ experience in machine shops, running all sorts of manual and cnc machines which, and access to a large shop which, I plan on using during my project.
I'm looking for some input. My plan is to buy and build a 13B(whether or not to turbo it is in question) and, eventually plant it in a solid fc.
This is going to be a long project but I want to make sure I do it right. Any input is appreciated.
What books/information would you recommend I look at as far as rebuilding the motor? Are there any threads/books/information you can recommend as far as porting/performance? Is there a certain series that would have performance and reliability advantages over other series? Is there more support for one series 13b over another? Is it possible to use a renesis block with earlier series intake?
