Wolf V4 Software
 

Hi , today i bought a wolf and joined the best forum i could find..this is it..

I have downloaded some of michaels data logging software..and i have some v4 software ..disk 1 ..sent to me in a file through email..but no disk2 to to activate it..can anyone provide me with some pc software to use ,so i can get on the long road of tuning my set up :wallbash: ...please oh and maybe a com port to wolf port diagram so i can make a pc link cable..cheers

I found a diagram for the cable....now just need to unlock my software...anyone??????

I must be old software if you need to unlock it.

What version Wolf are you using Version 3? I do have a copy of the V 3 software I could send you. What type of car/mods do you have??? I May post a map too.

YOUR RIGHT..I bought a wolf 3d v4 and was chatting to someone who gave me this software...could you send some of the last software for my v4..please
and this set up is not for a rotor....its on my other toy...its a beach buggy with a 1986
ea82-t subaru engine 1.8 litre stock with 12 psi..i disconnected the fuel cut vacuum switch..to get from 7.5 to 12......i know i might get an online bashing for this... but you guys are my only hope at the moment...Michael,do you have access to any set up and mapping for this engine....with a wolf v4.....Please.....

Buggys are fun my mate has a manx with a 12A bridgy 60 mph 2nd gear with the front wheels a foot off the ground :) I have not seen a Subaru engine but the Wolf will work well on it. On the Web site www.wolfems.com.au you can download the Manual and software. The software is downloaded as 2 disks just extract the disks to a new directory and run the install file. I do not have any Version 4 engine files for Subaru's .

I will help out , feel free to ask questions. Follow the description to setup the wolf from the manual step by step. Some pointers >turn all the bells and whistles off. You only need fuel and spark, cranking advance and cranking fuel to get it running. I would set cranking advance to 8 -10 deg cranking fuel to 4.30 ms you will need the data off the water temp sensor and air temp sensor or you could use VDO sensors described in the manual.

THANKS Michael..that is what i have a MANX,,its running with the stock ecu..and i am very happy with it,s soooo fast like 200sx,s are in the mirror....i know its probly running lean at 12psi though so the wolf is what will give me reliability and everything else that comes with it...i have been in the auto trade for 25 yrs and this is my toy.....any help is greatly appricated and i will keep you posted ,thank you

Hi michael..im having problems with the wolf set up..the files i have gets to 81 % and asks for the disk 2 which does not appear to be able to be downloaded..maybe im missing something..do you have to be registered to download it...??? i downloaded everything else from there with out registration.there download manual for pc software is dated 04..it is the 4.48 version..with what i have it looks to be only a pc sftware guide..but i have not files except the ones discribed earlier..and they come from a brand new boxed set v4 wolf which is currently on ebay with 7 hours to go..the chap was kind enough to send me a copy..but i need the 1 file on disk 2...do you know what could be happening here??wolf appear to offer the pc software download guide..but not the actual software,as i have not been able to veiw a section in there downloads which offer the actual software..just the software user guide..check it outi may be wrong...cheers

Forget the last post :Kill1: turns out i had all the files all along..the chap who sent me the software named both disc,s (disc 1) and that was the problem..i renamed the second disc (disc2) and bingo.it is version 4.49..anyway michael thankyou and wolf are sending me some set up and mapping for my ea82t manx..ill chat again soon and look out for your auto tune software when it is finished...cheers
