The V3 is a decent enough EMS. I ran it for about 4 years, then switched to Haltech.

Not sure I would recommend it nowadays, unless you where looking for your first EMS and wanted something cheap. It's a little long in the tooth, and somewhat limited, especially in '21 psi mode' where the resolution isn't that great.

v3 is ancient... not even half the resolution of v4.

v4 is hot though =]

If your running a Microtech are you using datalogging? If so this is one feature we're all waiting around to be released on the Wolf. You don't really need it just train one eye on the handcontroller/laptop and the other on the road!

And its one hell of a ride in Overdrive at 7500 rpm while driving and using a laptop. Thats why we need datalogging. I am still working on it....

Datalogging AFR's is the best way to get your car fine tuned.

Tuning WOT in the lower gears and cruise AFR's on the fly isn't too hard, but datalogging helps getting those pesky spots on your map you only hit now and then.
