Wolf 3D

Hey I have just bought a S4 turbo, which has a wolf 3d ECU. The guy i bought it from showed me how to change the crank fuel on cold and hot days and stuff. i was wondering if anyone has had a wolf before and knows anything else about them. like to help with mileage / power? thanks

go to the engine management section of the forum, their should be lots of wolf 3d info.

So you actually have to change the mapping of fuel depending on the temperature that day? Sounds like that man didnt know much about tuning.

He said to change the amount of fuel that it is injected during cranking.

Hi what version of Wolf do you have??? I never have had to change crank fueling and it goes from 0 deg C to 46C here with a V4 Wolf it always starts although it doesn't like the cold much but considering we rarely have more that 1 weeks cold weather a year well you know.

I guess rotaries arenīt very heavy to crank, right? What kind of engine does Keazy have? S4 like an Audi S4?

In my 4 cyl engine, cranking fuel is a very delicate subject due to it being very heavy and if it doesnīt start it he first couple of crankings it drains my batery.

Iīm not using idle speed control yet (using individual throttle bodies with fixed minimum aperture) so itīs very hard to start the car when cold. Do you have an effective system of tuning the starting paramethers?

yeah. i have to do the same when the temperture gets cold around here. What Starting Fuel Rate do you use?.... mine is some where along the lines of 10.00-10.14 millisec. yet, i dont know if that is too much or too less... any ideas?
