compatibility question
 

my FD is currently using version 4.56 of wolf 3D according to the hand controller. i am wondering if this is going to be compatible with it as i am going to prep the car up for a dyno tune (in case the tuner does not have the software on him, i may have to provide it). here it is on the link

it is software version 4.72. when the time comes to plug in the laptop to my car is it going to be able to work with it or will i have to update my ECU as well? also, can this software update the ECU if need be?

The software will work with your ECU. I have a 4.56 with 4.72 software, I also have the older software that came with the original ECU.

excellent, looks like ill be ordering the software soon. thanks for the clarification, i was wondering if they had to match up.

Do a search here you don't have to purchase the software ;)
