Yay or Neezy...

Yes or No? Should I even bother trying to claim these?

Im moving my mom's things into her new Apt and everything is pretty much done. I go back to her car to check for more stuff to move, and in her parking stall is what appears to be abandoned rotary parts. Now mind you, my life has it's fair share of extremely random and akward moment's but this has to be not only cool, but pretty dang random. Im not a theif and I just dont wanna snatch em up and disrespect a fellow rotary brother, but I cant stand to watch these parts sit and collect cob-webs.

In her parking stall is:

1. Drive shaft ( 2nd gen or 1st gen) cant really tell.
2. Front Cover for a 13b
3. 13b rotor housing w/rotor

:dunno: yay or neezy?

finder keepers, loser weepers.

Hmmm, Im gonna have my mom ask the neighbor's and then get back to me today before I leave work...I guess if they say they've been sitting there for a hot minute and not tossed, then it's mine I suppose.

finishline 05-06-08 02:46 PM

well, i took some old school carving/cruiser trucks i found at my old work.
now it's put to good use on my skateboard. :D

fc pro am 05-06-08 03:12 PM

You got a point. I think I'll polish up the rotor and housing to make it look presentable and just keep it in my room or something...Rotary Decor from " fc pro am"

Brismo7 05-06-08 03:39 PM

Rotary Deco FTW

teddyrx2 05-06-08 03:41 PM

take them

iLikeEatPoo 05-06-08 03:44 PM

I would take it for safe keeping :) but if someone complains about it being stolen then return it to the rightful owner.

fc pro am 05-06-08 03:50 PM

I see I see....another good point. I figure if no one claims it after a undisclosed time frame, I'll just take it I guess.

finishline 05-06-08 04:20 PM

if anything, just leave a note there saying where it went.

my brother just cleaned his 12A rotor, so now we have a 13B and a 12A rotor. :D

teddyrx2 05-06-08 04:20 PM

your putting to much thought into it my friend...if cob webs and so forth have been gathering in and around them, then those parts are no use to anyone

finishline 05-06-08 04:32 PM

perhaps it's fate that you found them?
maybe that's a TII driveshaft... (if thick)

fc pro am 05-06-08 04:44 PM

Yeah, Im just gonna claim em and get it over with. I'll try and post pics later.

fc pro am 05-06-08 05:58 PM

????

I guess, but who would want to be an enemy with a guy who's trying to salvage what appear's to be disregarded. If anything, It would be in good hands of a responsible enthusiast until further notice from the actual owner...who knows. I sure dont at this point.

What "appears" could also be deceiving.

finishline 05-06-08 07:20 PM

maybe it's a sign... to take your motor apart... time for a rebuild maybe? :icon16:

Battle Cat 05-06-08 07:35 PM

ed.. take it.. its yours.. if its there for the taking go for it.. but like they said.. if some one complains about it being gone.. be like oh.. my friend took it and then return it.. .but i doubt their gonna say anything... you just might be doing them a favor!

finishline 05-06-08 07:45 PM

let me conclude this thread with this saying...

"one man's trash is another man's treasure."

Battle Cat 05-06-08 07:47 PM

nice one kent!

finishline 05-06-08 07:50 PM

then again, it's funny i say that because it applies with FC's, along with all these used rotaries. lol
