Who said FD prices aren't rising ? 29k for '93 Yellow R1

I know it's a yellow R1, and from the looks never driven, but still $29k ? Wow, and who knows what kind of shape the seals are in, but if you're looking for a stock, R1 this is as close as you might get. And if you're looking at that car let me know I work right across the street, let me know 24hrs. in advance and I'll bring my FD :D

(Some Sweet Pictures of a stock FD BTW)

fffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuu

ey derek let borrow 20 k??? :icon16:

nightridaz777 05-18-09 12:02 PM

i like how it says 4 cylinder

RotaryDreamz 05-18-09 12:58 PM

indeed a very nice cym, but definately not worth the 29k. This reminds me of this guy on craigslist that keeps trying to sell his s5 GTU for $7,300 with 90k miles on it. Let me see if i can find his add.

rotary_bünta 05-18-09 01:33 PM

29K? i mean. i know everyone wants to have an FD but at this rate it will never be sold..
reminds me of of this hole in the wall dealer i found in downey trying to sell a red Hachi for 8k..

iLikeEatPoo 05-18-09 01:37 PM

it's because of initial D. and it will sell to some moron kid with a rich father. maybe not 29k but damn high like 25 probably. 29 is more than a brand new rx8

And will end up wrapped around a telephone pole within the first 6 weeks, 'cuz Junior thought all his FWD Civic 'drifting' experience taught him all he needed to know.

You can ask whatever you want, but you have to find someone willing to pay before it'll sell. Stock could be worth more than modified to the right buyer. Look at all the numbers matching BS that muscle car guys go through.

Yep. Its about time for me to step up from my old Honda!

And this car isn't stock. Its got a boost gauge, intake, giant stock mount intercooler, and a catback at the least.

Does that mean smog/PD trouble for the new owner?

Unless that intake has a CARB sticker, yes, it will be smog trouble for the new owner. The boost gauge, catback (if it is indeed only a catback), and intercooler are all legal.

For $23k you'll get far less than a BJ, you'll get kiked off the lot because it's $29

The way I figre it that guy sells all kinds of Lambo's Porsche etc... had a Countash 25'th Anniversary Last year this time... and probably bought the car for $20 at fair market or $22 k something like that and figures he can flip it for an extra $10 k, he's gonna find out that due to the cars reputation and that it's considered a Mazda, it doesn't warrant that kind of markup.

:bigthumb: to whomever sold it to the dealer for $20k, if that's what it went for...

RLaoFD 05-20-09 10:49 AM

^ still, even though its hiked up a mile I think he's going to sell it. that thing is just beautiful.

someone going in there not affording any of the other cars (and doesn't know anything about the FD) is gunna look at it and snatch it right up.

Ace$nyper 05-21-09 12:39 AM

I rather have a CRX
