Where can I get dry ice?
This is for a school project. My school is in Rancho, so the closer to there, the better. And is this stuff expensive?
grocery stores usually have it.
any supermarket will have it
Oh ok, cool. I thought I had to go to some specialty place or something.
How about sharing those kinky stuff you have in mind?
Ralphs has it, at about $1.50/lb. It's locked usually at the front of the store.

LOL
We're dyno-ing our 350 we built. Our engine is only 7 hp off the school record right now @371 without nitrous, and I want to beat it. From our current mods, any changes have lowered hp. We're going to try some dry ice on the carb to see if we can hopefully bump out a few extra ponies. |
They sell dry ice for $1/lb. in Riverside if you want to drive out here.

Very good advice wackyracer. I will experiment with the fuel temps also. The idea of putting ice on the carb though, was to cool the incoming air.
