PM Pistons, if I had to ASSume I would say why not since there are already 6 people exceeding the 5 tune per day arrangement. But who knows ask SK or PISTONS for more reliable answer. But be sure you can send teh deposit in right away if you ask because it IS past the deadline.

I think RX7Link was also interested so that would make 8.

How many do we need for a 2 day tuning event?

I still prefer to be tuned early Sat or Sun like I stated in my previous post.

I'm out, don't count me on the list. I don't know if my new engine is healthy enough. I think i'll have to do the compression test myself instead of pissing money away from each shop.

Hey. I'm actually going to need to drop out of this. Car problems that won't be fixed in time...

Anyone want to take my place? Either you can Paypal me the $206.10 that I sent to the organizer or the organizer can refund my funds since the new deposits haven't been sent to Steve at Gotham yet.

Lemme know...

Thanks and good luck fellas. Steve is an awesome tuner and all around good guy.

Damn sorry to lose you man, I'm dropping my car over at RR&R for a oil change and check up (everything should be fine) before the tune. Crossing my fingers for my car being in good shape this time!

So why don't you refund EIB and have EIB send me the deposit amount to take my place?

You've had a few people send you deposits since I've posted my request for a refund. Your the money man and the organizer. If someone paypals you new funds for a tuning spot, why can't you send the funds to me?

I don't get it man.... I've run two of these events and never had an issue refunding funds to people who had to drop out or managing the queue of funds/people.

If anyone wants my spot for 2nd person for Saturday's tune or Sunday's tune, please get in touch with me directly and we'll swap. Thanks.

The problem is I sent out the money order two days ago. His money has not cleared yet So I fronted him the money on the same day you backed out. So if I send you his money who paying me back get it? There was only one person who sent me money late EIB.

^ Didn't see you at RR&R today. I didn't think yours was the auto "lol". What single setup do you have?

He could sell his spot to a standby at the event or try to sell it on this thread. Years back I had to sell my spot, so I went to the tune and got cash. Ovcourse you notify who's ever in charge and Steve at the beginning.

Exactly I have been in contact with him in regards to this situation. I had explained that I would possibly take his spot If things worked out for me and he replied. Are you looking to hang onto my money to fund your own efforts? I don't get it man. I dont get it I have no idea what you implying I am trying to help you out and this situation. So from here on this no longer is my problem I dont have your money. You will have to find somebody to take your spot or lose your money.

gracer7... just to clear things up.... I actually paypal Pistons the deposit on 3/19 but the paypal payment is expected to be cleared tomorrow 3/23 as shown on my paypal account. You requested to drop out on the 3/20. So actually there was no one that sent the deposit to Pistons after you posted your request. I sent it in before your request. Hope that clear things up a bit and i just wanted to make sure Pistons don't get blame for anything...

So... whose on the list as of now and what are the times taken so far? Is this going to be a 2 day event or just Sunday? I'm a little confused from all the posts... some of which says its a one day and some says its going to be 2 days... i assume the list posted a few pages ago is no longer valid ... correct?....

if everyone don't mind.... let's redo the list with everyone's set time so we can have this thing set in stone once and for all....

I'm gonna start an empty list here with myself placed at the bottom (i'm gonna take whatever available time after everyone's time is set). I would just like to ask everyone to fill in their name and time accordingly....

1.______time:
2.______time:
3.______time:
4.______time:
5.______time:
6.______time:
7.______time:
8. )EIB( time: TBD

I thought it was strange also. I've run 2 of these tuning events myself. I thought it odd that deposits were being accepted for a 2 day event w/o confirming Steve's availability.

Pistons... could you confirm if Steve has agreed to a 2 day event?
