My dad had it happen to him on his old truck. Car cut out on the freeway so he pumped the gas a couple times and did a push start while still rolling and the muffler split open just like that.

when i tried to make big ass flames on stock exhaust
i poured about 1/4 gallon of gasoline into each of my fc tail pipe

it did that after a while and made GIANT FLAMES!
