TAS 2k17 & visit to Garage R, Sanai Works, and return visit to RMagic
I attended TAS again. It was cold! Very windy! At least no rain this year!
I didn't take many pics this year...I was kind of disappointed in this year's TAS.

Garage R
My list of shops I have visited continues to grow:
RE Amemiya
Fujita Engineering
Leg Motorsports
Maker's RX7
Panspeed
RMagic
and now
Garage R and Sanai Works...plus a revisit to RMagic
My screw up with the train schedules caused me to miss Knightsports...next time!

Moar!

I love this car! Pictures don't do it justice...very slight tint of pink in the white. Plus, the body kit isn't quite as aggressive as some of the others.

Not digging the wing though

Thank you for posting those pictures of your awesome journeys.
It is great to see what they are building in Japan and where they build the cars.
Whether it is a laid back countrified looking shop or a tidy urban shop or something in between the passion they put into the cars produces treasures.

I always ask prior to trying to take pics. The owner of Sanai Works was asking if I was shooting for any magazines...he has been the most nervous of all the shop owners I have met.
Can you pass on any advice, I'm planning on going to Re-Amemyia's shop this Saturday. Based on google, it looks like their open 7 days week 9:30-7pm. Just want to make sure they are open on weekends. unfortunately, I can't read anything on their website.

Seems like this visit would turn out less awkward if you were able to get an English and Japanese speaking go-between for the day.
Do you know anyone in Japan you can rope into this as a favor?
You could call English speaking guide services and see if you can arrange for a guide for an hour or two.
At the very least you will get someone on the phone that speaks English and may be able to come up with addresses, routes and ideas on how to make this visit less awkward.
Remember, it can be stressful or a pain to interact with people you cannot communicate with and these are people you respect don't want to inconvenience.

BTW highly recommend rent a pocket wifi and google map is your friend. Is about 30min walk from the closest train station.
I made it there last Friday. Unfortunanetly i didn't know anyone out there. It was awkward and hard to communicate with them. I had google translate and that helped me a lot. Also, google maps was my best friend thoughout the trip. I took a bus from Tokyo that stopped close to the shop, less than a 5 minute walk. Thanks for the advice guys.
