I am having a heck of a time trying to get my new brake pads not to squeak. I got front Hawk HPS pads with new brake rotors and the driver side is squeaking like no other. I have the anti-squeal shims in between the pistons and the pad with anti-brake-squeal goop. It happens when I turn the wheel by hand even when not applying the brakes. Does anyone have any ideas? After searching for a while today, it may be my wheel bearings although it would be a heck of a coincidence that my wheel bearing is making noise immediately after changing brake pads.

 

Finished my first triathlon this weekend. Since I've sold all of my toys I've kind of have been treating my body like a racecar. It knid of reminds me off the ol' autoX and canyon cruise days only the apex's come a lot slower. Hope all of you guys are well!

So the next meet is the day of Mazfest, I don't know how many of you guys are going but I was thinking of coming out to the San Berdo meet then head over to Cali Speedway.

 

ok so who's showing up this weekend? I plan to. I just got an AEM EMS. I've got the car running on it, but there is still a ton to learn. Right now it is rich so it should do just fine up in the hills.

I also saw something crazy 245/50/16 the stock S5 T2 wheels! I just put 215's on and thought that was a bit much but somehow dude pulled it off.

Just started up my car and blue smoke started billowing out of the exhaust. It smells like coolant and my coolant reservoir and thermostat are bone dry. Ohhhhhhhhh shoot, this is an unplanned expense. My heart is still racing.
