rob... yeah yeah yeah... it always about those stupid electronics... they dont drive my car..i do the closest evo to me is like 3-4 seconds behind me and the day my acd didnt work, i still ran the same times...there was just more ***-pucker moments

and the tires im getting are dunlop direzza 03G's.... they arent even sold here in the states... so info has been tough to find...but from what ive read on new zealand forums... they are treaded r-comps

mattgotthefd..... id love to see the pics... and yeah, 99.9% of my laps were low 45's....but i squeezed in a 44.9 on the second session!

Actually it was a different Track config. So you can't say you ran the same time. We ( everyone) all know what electronic and all wheel drive can do for the drivers. You can ask anyone about that. What ever floats your boat. I'll be there on tuesday.

Well thats a big step up from the backyard kart track. Maybe it has something to do with insurance purposes or maybe just the cost of the transponder system. Either way, that may draw a whole lot of unwanted attention if they turned it into a full on race track.

 

Yea but that way there is no humane error. You get the exact time posted. As for insurance, they have to have a huge amount of insurance to be able to run the cars on the track. You can rent them there. I have my own. $168 gets you one.

wow!!! ok robert.... one thing you have to understand about me is i play around alot.... everything i say or do is in a complete joking and sarcastic manner.... you on the otherhand take everything i say and do to heart...... every week is a frendly race to me... i loved it when you beat me, it gave me a time to strive for.... and i did beat it last week (and no, the track config wasnt changed), and i was just playing around with you when i posted that.... for some stupid *** reason, you took it to heart... who really cares about a freakin lap time at a go kart track?!?!?!?!? its all in good FUN... and thats what i leave it at..friendly competition..when you beat me, i jokingly said it was the r-comps...and they did help, but i didnt care, i was joking.. when i beat you, you blamed it on my all wheel drive and electronics..and you were serious..so what...big deal...you beat me fair and square..then i beat you fair and square a car is a car.... i would never get whiny if i got beat by a new skyline and say "well, you beat me becuase of all your gizmos and gadgets"...no, he beat me becuase he beat me! i am nothing but a fireindly person and never act like a sore loser, or a dick when i win.... i always say, "well, you could always beat me next week".... so i dont see in any way shape or form that you could respond to me as if ive been a dick...... youve done that before when dave died..... ease up ALOT! not everyone is out to be a dick buddy!

My computer talked to me last night. Really weird stuff. It was on my pc run through a router on a ethernet line. I woke the cpu you up and was on the desktop before I opened the internet up and heard a male voice saying something like delta bravo vector 8. Something wierd like that. Waited a minute then heard it talking again. How could this happen? The only thing related I can think of is that a nieghbor has what appears to be a ham radio antanae. Don't know how those waves would make it through my land line though.

 

What the crap?! Is your phone line connected to your PC? Are you on a wireless network, and if so, is it secured? Need details stat!

 

I believe the ethernet goes from the wall to the router( which is/ should be secure) then the ethernet line on one of the ports on the router runs to the pc. It totally freaked me out when I heard it. I think my pc is haunted lol.
Also, I use comcast for cable/internet/and phone. So I'm guessing they all share the same wires.

Damon, my best guess WAS that you had your modem (phone line) connected to your PC and the lines got crossed. That wouldn't explain the lingo they used, but it would explain why you heard it without having any programs open. But it must be the ham radio or something - I imagine guys with those probably talk like that. How your computer received those signals is beyond my comprehension.

 

I think they're talking about proto motoring. I remember seeing their place off of Iowa, they were selling a bunch of "sporty" cars.

see.... i can take it as a joke

casey...... hopefully next week ill have some beechen tires im so excited...and i just cant hide it.. im about to lose control....****....suddenly i dont like that song..hahahahhaa....the only drawback to the tires is they are 235/40r18...mine are 245/40r18...so im going down a tad...but them being r-comps... i think the contact patch will be roughly the same.....but my star specs are 200 treawear and these are 60

 

yeah, proto is a performance shop.... they are the ones who put on the time attack and drift days....
