Nice work, and I'm looking forward to seeing another FD single turbo at the meet!!! Last time I had my car at the meet with another single turbo FD was when guitarjunkie was there(white FD). That was a long time ago!!

I don't think I will be running the car hard this meet coming up. Not enough miles by then........or maybe it will be.
I found out that Jeggs or Summit sells them now. The guy that builds the engines for our sand cars has them made, but it looks like some of the big guys have caught on and started making them for the masses. Not sure on the part number. The main thing is you've got to get a tool to crimp the steel lines that makes a hump in the line so the clip has something to grab onto so the fitting doesn't fly off under pressure. The one I used cost about 400 dollars, but it was a nice hydrolic unit. It belongs to my boss. I would lend it out if I owned it myself.
I've put about 100 miles on mine and just started beating on it. I've always gone by the "drive it like you stole it" school of thought. I've built about 3 rotaries now and plenty of piston engines to count.
I have her set for 5lbs right now and its pretty quick at a 9:1 AFR. Once I feel more comfortable with the way things are running I will slowly bring it up to 15psi. I assume 15 is safe on 91 octane.

I just got my GReddy elbow in the mail along with my BOV. I was about to run out the door to the shop to weld the BOV on only to find out that it came with a steel flange. Bummer.

Yeah that rear bumper got a good dent in it along with the front bumper getting banged up. I've got some shots of the car off track that I'll post up tomorrow once my battery gets recharged.

Also, what the **** was with that silver FD that sounded like **** and then broke?

it always sounds like **** then brakes!

Honroc, thanks for commin out. you should came and said hi. :-(

Yeah Jesses "misshap" was a double whammy. not only did it major suck for him, but it screwed me as well. My last set (the set he crashed on) was by far my fastest lap. because of his mishap I never got a timed run. I was second fasest of the night, but still 1.5 seconds behind Jesse. I know I would have been right there with Jesse on that last set.... but of course Jesse had to go and mess that up for me.... thanks Jesse!

oh and yes, I was on the rev limiter down the front streatch, ten shift into 3rd on the back straight, then on the rev liiter again in the middle.

I would of Casey but I had to split early like around 7pm and most of you guys were still out on the track turning laps. Nice pics, I just had a little digital camera with me at the time with low batteries. I was stationed right at the turn just before the straight away and on a few of your laps it looked like you were lifting your front inside tire, Did you feel that at all? Well I am glad I got to come out and see, can't wait to get the Red beast done so I can join you guys out on the track
