Well, after a few late nights this week getting my car back together and ready for the meet this weekend I just found out last night that there is a funeral I have to attend. Here's a few pics though. I might be there from 9-9:30 if I can, doubtful though.

My car has a fuel leak from the upper secondary rail... I for sure can't make it now!

Does anyone have an S5 TII upper fuel rail for sale?

 

^ Where is it leaking from? Hopefully it's just something small like a loose line( stock clamps stink) or banjo bolt.

Nope, it's not the line, I can clearly see it leaking from the end of the fuel rail.

Just took the quest for a test drive(first time in about a month) and man does it feel good! No more lag and lots-o-boost!

 

scotty305, Vipers and myself started the meet. I had another thread back in the days, and for what ever reason (I dont remember now) Scotty started a new thread.

Scotty305 still has his FD, but does not drive it much, we still talk with him. (he also does not live close anymore)

I doubt the RX-8 guys will show. I have pretty much given up on them. :-/ we might get one or two every now and then, but I think they have gotten board with it.

I'm surprised the RX-8 guys aren't showing up. Only 9 months ago when I first started going, there was maybe 2 or 3 RX-7s, and 6+ RX-8's. Their cars are much newer, it seems there would be a higher probability of them showing than us. Not to mention, their thread on RX-8 club seems much more active, and they tend to hang out a lot more than we do.

Well we can add one to our number in the next few months. We just got my brother's 7 back from Lucky7Racing. They dropped in a new clutch, resurfaced the flywheel, replaced the vacuum lines, new spark plugs and wires (they were original 50k miles) and some more stuff which I can not remember. All we have left now are shocks, springs, and tires. After that, its completely drivable and ready to be brought to the meets.

I will still be bringing mine to the meets, so until my brother is actually old enough to drive his own car, my dad might show up in it from time to time.

 

My 7 will be there tomorrow.

not bored with the meets at all, its just a lot of the people who used to go do not go anymore. i have also taken riding my bicycle more and that usually occurs on saturdays. (not to mention i am feathering my bank account with some large home jobs done lately and then the holidays coming up)

 

We can all understand that. I should really be more active myself.

Great thanks. Just watched your videos. You used much more of the track than me. I really need to concentrate on my line more. My car isn't holding me back at all, its more driver skill. My dad and I are hooked. We will definitely be there next month.

 

well good! I was hoping you guys had a good time. I am glad we got 4 runs, its amazing how much that 4th run makes it "better".

If you guys want more track time next time we can always buy you some X runs as well. I am not sure how much they cost, but it gets you an extra 3-4 runs. (and you dont have to work a 2nd time)

I also recomend you BOTH do the instructor thing next time. it helps sooo much.
