Jesse- I think I'm going to end up Caravaning over with Casey and the Miata since they are local. Also, What time do you think the driving will begin for spectators to enjoy.

Hey everyone, sorry I missed the meet. sounds like yall had fun.

I went into the hospital Last Wednesday, had Surgury Friday, and was there till Monday night. I was there for 5 full days. honestley I should have stayed another night. Monday night at home was miserable.

anywho, I am starting to feel a little better, I only require a little help getting out of bed such. today is the first day I can sit up. I get my 17 staples removed Friday.

I still plan to race on Saturday, but I am not dumb and I understand that realistically that is likley not going to happen. if that does not happen I will have a friend take my seat, and Keith will still bve driving it (still 2drivers).... so either way I will be there, I just might not be driving.

See you guys this Saturday!

just got my car back from the shop and it feels GOOD! Nice and tight. Now all I need to do is add about 50hp and I'll be good to go.

Good to see you back online I won't make it this weekend to the auto cross. We are taking a road trip up north to San Francisco, then over to Yosimate park....down teh PCH1 home!

Here is the results of my tune. Thought I would share. Looking at the dyno graph the yellow numbers are the base Hp/Torque, in green is the ending tune. Boosting up to 25psi tapering off to 18psi. Not too bad, I thought the torque would have been higher then the HP in the end results.

 

That's a pretty huge leap over stock considering they rate it at around 300bhp. After it goes through all of those diffs I feel you could be looking at around a 60-70whp gain. Congrats! Poor Jesse

Ryan, Baby stuff is going good so far. to be honest the focus this week has been on me, so I kinda forgot. but yeah, everything is good. no news. It will be a while before we find out the sex or anything cool.

 

Wait a second, so for me, as a student, its only $15 to get 3 autoX laps? Ok now I'm seriously looking into this. If I'm not mistaken, then I am completely in for next month.

So I need to buy a helmet, and thats it? My car will pass inspection and everything.

 

I'll probably be there around 8-9pm and watch for a while and get a feel for the atmosphere. I'm definatly in for next month. I was planning on running tomorrow but **** happens. Also^, like Casey has said, they have free rental helmets you can use. Just go get a head sock and see if you like it.

 

Thats a great idea. How much would a cheap helmet be to buy?

I am trying to get ahold of Jesse now to make sure he is still going.

If the two of you are still going, then I will try to make it down there to watch. (I still really want to watch) my only concern is that I took my first car ride since I have been out of the hospital, and the 10 minute drive was a bit more pain then is comfortable. so we will see how I am doing tomorrow. (to see if I can handle a 45 minute drive)

dont forget you need to do the novice course walk. when you register, tell them that this is your first time, and you know you need to do the Novice course walk. then them help you.

I'm disappointed I had to leave so early and didn't get to see either of you guys run. Next month I am signing up for sure. May I have some help with registration? Do I need to sign up for two clubs, both SCCA and another club, such as No Bucks? I am reading this on the solo2.com website. Also, would enrolling in the Mazdaspeed Motorsports program be beneficial?
