Apparently you have never dealt with the truly wealthy. Money can get you anything you want done.
Apparently I have and shouldn't be assuming.

I know you are pissed because you are trying to rush things.

Check craigslist and search under the services section for towing. You might find someone that will do it for around $150. I had my car towed from Torrance to Rancho and it was $135 for a flatbed truck. Some people wanted as much as $270 so just call around.

And if cool_as_crap still has AAA plus service calls left that would be your best option. He needs to be there though when the driver arrives to show his ID and membership card but after that he can take off....he doesn't need to sign anything or be present when the car is dropped off in Upland.

cool is about two hours away... which is a bummer. I don't expect anyone to drive two hours just to show a AAA card to hook me up.

I'll check out craigslist, thx.

I have a truck but i'm in the OC. It's a 4x4 so it gets about 10mpg ($70/tank). I have the tow package but not the thing that drops down with the ball. I doubt I could rent that since it's lifted 8" and i'd need a special one. I could prolly trade ya for one of those instead of gas but then you still need a trailer. If that won't work change settings on PFC to no boost.

I dont plan on boosting it anyway, but even driving it with the timing off... isn't that going to screw up things? This is a fresh motor... 0 miles.

No, I drove my street ported motor according to break in instructions. I blew it up at 1500mi at 10lbs of boost at 7500rpm. I didn't take in to account the large street port adds about 15% or so HP, so I guess it's equivilant to 12.5lbs of boost. A very expensive lesson and I understand your fears. Anyhow, keep the boost off or no more then 5lbs and stay under 5krpm's. No matter if the same turbo 350z eggs you on for a race, don't punch it and blow him away!

Why would you even reccomend 5 PSI of boost?! You can't regulate that with your foot when the turbo wants to boost 20PSI+.

DON'T BOOST!

LOL

Yeah I don't plan on racing anybody... I'll do the whole gramps thing.

Hopefully I can drive it off without problems.

I guess that solves it, I'll just drive my *** over there =)

Thanks guys, sorry I blew up earlier... rough week.

If you can, roll on week day night so there is no traffic, and it will be nice and cool. Bring a flashlight!

DON'T BOOST!
5lbs is enough for hills and freeway.

I said control boost with PFC, not foot. What thread were you reading?

Turbos don't boost 20lbs on their own. PFC won't even control more then 17lbs.
