SF Bay Area STOLEN Volk CE28
2 Attachment(s)
Hi there,
Been a while since I've visited 7club...really my fault. Yesterday my 92 NSX had it's wheels stolen from the Sunnyvale Caltrain station. I'd appreciate it if folks can please keep their eyes open for a pretty rare set of wheels that are specific for NSX with BBK's The wheels are Gold Volk CE28's 18x8 +38 front and 19x9.5 +36 rears. The tires are Toyo T1R 225 35 18 and 275 30 19. I've attached photos of the car when I found it, when I got back from work...and what the car used to look like I really appreciate folks keeping their ear to the ground for this. If you can share this on S2K boards, Supra boards, or local clubs/boards (I think those are the only places where these staggered wheels would fit) I'd be forever in your debt. |
Oh man. That's...infuriating. Have you posted this on any of the Bay Area facebook groups?
|
I've posted in Bay Area Car Spotters, Bay Area Track Junkies, Bay Area NSX, NSX Prime, reddit..publicly on my FB
Not sure where else to post but I'd really appreciate folks spreading the word around I've heard that there's been a rash of these on mod'd cars. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same bunch of people running around doing this. If we can find them...well it would be a huge win for everyone. |
What a shame, it's sad this kind of crap happens. Hope something turns up. Nice ride, I feel like I've seen it around.

Wow, lucky they didn't take your front bbk too.
These should turn up. Double staggered 18/19 combos don't appear often. |
post it in Northern California Rotary Group. Some other dud got jacked for his BMW wheels a couple weeks ago in Fremont. sorry about that man
|
Wow man. Did you have locks? Lucky they didn't go for more.
Hope you get them back. Nice NSX! |

Sorry to hear about this, will keep a look out on craigslist and ebay
|
Probably wont be any help but there was a guy about a month ago that asked me if I knew anyone that wanted to buy some Volks off an NSX. Wasn't interested at the time so didn't get any info. Didn't see the wheels, didn't get his name. I have a shop here in San Bruno so maybe he tried some of the other shops in our area. Good Luck.
PS. Personally, I would never park a valuable car like that at Caltrain. (Assuming you park it there and commute to work) Too risky. Not trying to sound like a dick, just constructive criticism. |
