San Jose GTG 7/13 - Weekely Wednesday

Yes I know we talked about pushing it back to the 20th for the 2nd meet, but I decided to just show up and hang out to keep the spirit of "weekly meets" alive.

If we were to skip a meet, I would think that there might be some disappointed members that wanted to come out this week. Once again, since I am the one that suggested, I will take the bullet and be out there.

It will be at the same time same location. 7:30 at Krispy Kreme donuts on the corner of Lawrence Expwy and Prospect Rd.

I'll most likely me sitting in my red FD, watching some DVD. I'm purposedly not watching the last disc of Nip Turk first season so I have something to do while I wait.

We had a pretty good time for a gtg that happened on such a short notice and with small group of people. Hope more of you can make it out this time around.

I might swing by, not doing anything that I know of yet. Think I'm going to go take the stupid assessment test at Las Positas that afternoon to get that done with so I can get registration finished. I need to get gas too... I really need to get a job...

FYI, we'll meet up and head off to get some grub. It'll just be a quick bite to eat and also to prevent drawing too much attention people driving by and more importantly, the cops.

Hopefully people will start showing up around 7 o'clock. We'll just chill and check out the rides for a bit and head off to a dinner around 8-8:30, how does that sound?

What does everyone think of Popeye's that's couple of blocks down?

If anyone thinks they can't make it until dinner, just PM me and I'll give you my cell number to call and locate us.

We're most likely change the spot to a place that is more convenient for more members after this week.

Anyone have any suggestions for initial meet up spot?

Closer to SF is always better.

Last time we were at the krispy kremes until about 8:30, pushing 9:00.

Krispy Kreme is located in the corner of Lawrence Expway and Prospect Rd.

Alright, guys. I will be out there starting around 7 - 7:15ish, hope to see you guys there.

I'll get a dozen of original glaze for you guys to munch on, also to get the whole group into a single spot. Last time there were just couple of people here and there.

Agreed, the event is still at its infancy, so just attendance alone means a lot guys. It was great to meet you guys all and talk cars. Hopefully we can get a little more people to come out and plan out a cruise or something of that sort.

Now for next week's meet, what location sounds good to you guys? I think somewhere in northern san jose area(milpitas, mountain view) will be better of a spot for all people. Any suggestions?

Jay

Milpitas, huh? Sounds like a little Calaveras Rd mission might be the call.

Sorry, I'm really bad with names, but I'm stoked I made the drive and it was cool checking out your cars.

I'm still fapping over that Supra....and the LS1 FD sounded NIIICE when you took off.
