ve is a vvl motor. its out of the x-trail. nicks motor is a bit of a frankenstein though.

little info on the motor
The 2.0 L (1998 cc) SR20VET was the first turbocharged engine from Nissan with variable timing and lift control. It produces 280 PS (276HP) @ 6400rpm

we have a friend that has an s13 (hatch iirc or is it a coupe......) with iirc an rb20 in it. it might be an rb25 i never paid that close attention to it. nick did all the work on that one too....i do think its a 25 though......eh w/e

you get the idea

Damn, I like that a lot! How much did the motor run him? I know who to go to for help with the swap and such. Won't be til next year or christmas... And there's not gonna be a whole lot done to it. I'm planning on getting it to 320hp, slamming it on coils, and tearing it up. I have a hookup at america's tires who drives an S14 who gives us free used tires too.

If I can find an s14 for cheap, I'd buy it up instantly. Only because they have a closer resemblance to the S15, and that's prolly one of my all-time favorite cars...
