Good Luck WOLFgang. This exact chit was talked about just last week in this section by another new FD owner in S.D. TThe consensus is that it's a dice roll using anybody in S.D.

great.... how about north of here?

Ok, San Diego isn't that great. LA isn't too far to go for someone worth their salt. This is of course assuming that there is someone of good quality. Thanks for any insight!

dude good luck in finding one and let me know, ive been looking for a good mechanic here for months. Nothing..... I really dont think just finding a shop to bolt shit your ride is the key. keep in mind that FD for some reason have a order in which performance parts may be safe to put on without going all out for a motor rebuild. your typical bolt on shit shops are only interested in selling you shit.
be aware.. good luck.

just drive to signal hill and go to mazdatrix for anything involving motor work they are pricey but currently the best/only option (as far as im concerned) till dave decides what he is doing.

if you are looking for a shop locally that can install parts and other stuff locally PM me i can recomend someone.

What are you looking to get installed?

MAXX65 12-28-07 12:32 PM

I would recommend JDM concepts in Oceanside. I've been taking all my cars there for the last 4.5 years. they have been working on my RX7 for about 6 months now. The do speak thier mind about what you should and shouldn't do with your car, but once you get to know then you'll realize they only speak from experiance. they do a good job at tuning too. Their phone number is 760-806-9489

interesting. i have never heard of them before. who is the rotary mechanic there?
