OKAY---OKAY !!! here goes my two cents
FUkeneh--- I'll try to stay objective here to your original post.
First try to have a tune up done new plugs-oil-and what not. It seems that you have had your FD parked for a while and many things could be a factor. Even having a sticky injector is a possibility. if the problem continues, have a compression test done. I think you're in the military service?? correct!!!! the hobby shop on base seems to be a great source to have minor things such as compression test done. then get back to us on who and where you should risk having your FD molested @...... best of luck
Michael

No seriously I've been wanting to come out. But my home project takes 100% of my spare time. Shoot I even missed 7 stock this year (now that hurt). Once I'm done I'll come out. Finally meet some of you guys.

And the WINNERS in order of appearance:

www.neptunespeed.com
RnR rotary in Glendora
Rotary Power in Gardina...think I was there once; he brokered a rebuilt turbo...and this is where my problem may lie due to lots of blu smoke...guess i've wound her up a few too many
Mazda dealer Carlsbad
Autotech Motorsports, Chula Vista
Dan, Econo Lube N Tune two votes for Dan
the guy next-door to the fabricator Spiritrmazda, what address?
Fidel Ruiz at Westcott Mazda...Fidel is an excellent tech but crappy dealership. heard a story about the service mgr there intimidating 1 FD customer with pricing...to the point that THE SERVICE MGR NOW OWNS THE CAR..!

well, a bit more than I bargained for...for a moment there i forgot my issue...thanks for the ride guys

^^^ if you end up taking it to neptunespeed with Yoshida, you will be in good hands. From the info that i have gathered from people who have spent MONEY with him have nothing but great things to say regarding his skills with general Mechanics and especially with Rotary . I am looking forward to having him tune my FD along with one other Fd owner in the near future...... my only complaints is that I wish the shop was closer to San Diego.
best of luck!!!!
