rx7 thefts??? mines next?!?!
 

so i get home and my uncle tells me today at lunch time there was someone staring at my rx7 for the longest time, scoping everything out, and when he asked wtf the guys asked if it was for sale... wtf this is got to be the 30th time my family has seen someone "suspiciously" checking out my car... i mean, i dont mind people looking, but they seem to be looking with some kind of intent...

whats with all the goddam rotary thefts lately... thats all i hear about now! makes me paranoid to park it in my own driveway, i would put it in the garage, but theres already one in there and another one in the driveway... and i drive my DD everywhere...

I was thinking the same thing. Seems to be open season for rotary theives. But we know parts are harder to find as time goes on, thats just making a black market for them. I'm putting a gps tracker on mine, then I can follow the fuckers and get my 7 back plus whatever else the foos got in their garage as an inconvenience fee. But just as a note, if anyone steals chinkst3r's 7, I call first dibbs.;) ;)

its already got full alarm system, with hood, hatch and door sensors... haha even if the EGI's in, i dont think they can started without knowing a lil bit bout Rx7's cause its low comp! ... not an easy start!!!:naughty: but im still worried they not neccessarily aiming for the car as a whole...

jk man, but its true, u know how I have to start my 7 every 30-45 minutes at the meets. Thats so it doesn't take me 15 minutes to warm the car up when I do leave. Plus having a 27 yo 7 with a faulty choke, aint' no way someone other than me gonna start that car and drive it within 30 minutes. I tried to leave in a hurry before, and no way, that original Nikki don't work till she's warm and ready, lol.

And if they try to think of jackin it when I remote start it and let it warm up, heh good luck. The bitch dies when you put it into gear without the keys. My cars goin nowhere !! my brother's CRX was stolen in front of my house and was parked next to my FC... completely SUCKED!! i wish we had some sort of survalance!!! stupid jackers... a neighbor had said he spotted the car leaving my street around 3am BUMPING LOUD MUSIC... what kind of SHHXT is that?! bastards got away too :wallbash:

not much you can do against jackers.... usually, they WIN too... FUCK THAT!! now MAYBE if the justice system can punish jackers by slicing their hands off... they'd think thrice!!!

once at the mall, the other in front of my house. not a cool feeling at all.

yeah ken hope nothing happens with it I remember you mentioning that one of the time i was over there. I think ill start taking my SAFC out of mine at night the car won't/can't run with out it. Air fuel mix is to insane ecu can'thandle it on its own.

today i had this whiteboy *please excuse, not racist, jsut stating what ethnic* came up to my door today trying to solicite for this school/help thing he was going through , i answer the door and his opening was "yah i wanna buy ur car" im like "its not for sale" then he goes "ill give u 30k" . "nah im just kidding.. im from .. blah blah" .. then he kept askin me about my car... i told him i was busy and wasnt interested in wahtever he was offering and i didnt want to waste his time (it was like to subscribe to some magazines or something) .. but i hate that when door to door solicitors etc come up to your house trying to sell something, adn they ask about your car or check out your car.. if you come to my house and do that, I will automatically not deal with you. I always try to be nice to those people becuase frankly you never know what they will do if you treat them bad.. esp some times I get those people who have problems and are going through programs and go door to door to gain supporters.

time for lo jack.. i wonder how fast would they react to search for your car once u report it.. if its in a few hours then that is cool.. if its like a few days before police go look for it, then its probably too late.

On ebay they get these gps trackers you can use yourself and brows thru google earth or something, for around 300 bucks,, just hide it in your car, seems pretty cool... but i dont think police will back that up if your car got stolen, you could go on your own and try to recover it.. but thats ur life on the line

i was talking to 1st7 and he told me about how they used to try to jack him back in the day, with a truck and and trailor... i have a clifford alarm, steering is fully turned one direction, and steering wheel is kept indoors now. probably gunna get a survalence system soon!
