Rear end shops?
I'm looking to have some axle/differential work done on my car within the next 2 months. Can anyone recommend a good, quality shop that will do it. I'd rather spend a little more for a good shop than have a cheaper shop do a not-so-satisfying job. But if there's a cheap shop that does good work, then damn!
Mainly looking to have these things put into my 1st Gen rear end: - 4.8 gears - LSD + rebuild TIA |

well if you intend to use in Race or similar condion, mabe spend a little more, and let ISC do it

^^ I'd love to let ISC do it, but shipping an entire rear end across the nation and back is probably gonna cost more than the labor :(

THe 5.1 Final drive I got is From MAZDATRIX. this is one of Spare part on their EP Race car. MAZDATRIX told me. they sent entir Diff to ISC, for them to put ring and pinon and LSD. So even shop like MAZDATRIX. will let some one else handel of install of Ring and pinon. Putting Rear end is easy, but not the install of Ring and pinon.... |
Long shot but what about 4x4 places? dont people like doing things like 4.88 gears in their trucks all the time and "posi" swaps?

As long as you stay away from Hooper's :icon_tdow in Sun Valley, you should be fine.
They did a shit job on my '70 'cuda's rear end, and then a shit job "fixing" their shit job. |
