As some of you might know, I picked up a 85 GSL this past weekend, decent shape, compression is good but the oil control rings are going bad so it smoke every now and then, so It's the perfectime to do a whole rebuild maybe engine swap. what ya guys think I should do?

I wanna stay N/A, the engine would last much longer, plus I kinda wanna keep it a lil old skool. regardless which set up I go, I really want to do a huge street port or a mild bridge port, I really want to hear that loud brap sound :)

yep, the first gen was my very first car...i love that 12a power. its a beast now tho. do the 12a bridge..you will love the brap sickness that comes from that..trust me.

13 b EFI wold be easier to tun and u might get more power

easier to tune, not really, depends who you go to and if you're using stock ECU with piggy back or a stand alone, but it would give me more power. I'm not looking to be the fastest guy in the street, I just want to have somehting that has balls and sounds great.

Well due to lack of funds I'm probably doing the 12A BP set up, but if I can get my hands on a cheap S5 13B block I'll go that way. I'm looking to start this around Oct-Nov time frame, need time to save up the cash lol. cuz I know Imma need around 3-4g's for this, we'll see. . .
