before i say anything else: dont laugh cause im new to the rotary scene.
im going through about a single quart of oil for every ~130 miles or so. do you think my oil seals are shot or what? and dont say change the oil and filter cause ive done that. please if you have any ideas or suggestions respond, dont just view and laugh. theres 124k mi on original engine. no mods just stock and thats under normal driving conditions.
THANKS chris

Does your car smoke and or leak and now much? I would check for large leaks first because i don't think that is possible for you to burn that much oil in such a short time. The 2nd gen section would be a better place to look for answers.
If it's not smoking or anything, check for external oil leaks, mainly the oil cooler lines. If it is smoking, your oil seals are most likely going out.
It's not a freaking FD dude, it's an NA. Those things will go for 200k+ miles when properly taken care of.

"leaks to look for"
That has a couple common leaks. There are probably others too. Also check for "mayonaise" in the coolant.
Basically:
dowel pin leak = just ignore it and keep adding oil; it's harmless but it takes a rebuild to fix it
oil cooler, oil cooler line, other oil line or other oil system component leak = find and fix it
"mayonaise" = rebuild
