Well, not all here. But I'll be there in spirit.

Hey Ben, the top radiator hose is leaking. I'm not worried about fixing it until I get home. I'm going to switch over to all steel braided lines under the hood and for the fuel too. I figure if I spend all that money up front then at least I don't have to worry about replacing them anymore. So I'm already pricing SS brake lines, SS clutch line, SS oil lines, SS radiator lines, and SS fuel lines. I am not happy about how much all of this is going to cost though.

Is there much of a point to buy a SS radiator hose? It's not under THAT much pressure is it? Or do you just want some extra bling?

the radiator hoses are probably the second most prone burst point in the cooling system aside from the heater hose on the driver's side of the block.

luckily the mazda ones are pretty durable.

They are durable, but I'll take my chances with SS.

Nick, yes I like the factor as well.

I don't like the price of the "bling" factor but then again, I can be a cheap ***. One of us has to or we'll be poor

Too true!! But at least SS lines won't go bad like regular ones do. It's worth it in the long run.

Japan and Germany can get humid. I know for a fact, been to both. But that's summer. So I'm a cold climate Winter Asian.

I still have the old ones, but I think they're going on the RX-7.. though I can always swap between the 2 cars.

Oohhh guys this might just be too tempting to pass up- https://www.zoomzoomlive.com/

The SF one is on the 20th/21st, get to drive new miata and RX-8 and such for free? I wonder if they still have space open to register. Hows about a second meet on sunday and we all sign up for about the same time?

Cool stuff, they aren't shows, just meetings. Hang out's and such to talk and gawk. But it'd be cool to have some new people come out so be sure to look for next month's meet thread and let us know if you can make it.

Heheh not at all, think I might try and drag one or two of my friends along too. Although I'm starting to wonder if we should change the time to earlier to make sure we make the sign up for the RX-8 session cuz thats even more alluring then the new miata. How long does it take you to get to SF from Stockton? (Don't want to make you have to get up too early or anything)

If the new Miata you will be driving is the MazdaSpeed edition then I'd rather drive that. I had a chance to really beat on one of those from the Stockton Mazda dealer where Jan works, and it handled better than my FD did! I couldn't believe it. And the turbo in that car somes on so smooth and gives great power all the way to redline. Berry and I really thought about buying one of those for her, but the salesmen at Stockton Mazda are a bunch of ******!!!!

Zach, I don't think it's the Mazdaspeed one . The site only mentioned the new redesigned 2006 MX-5.
