motor rebuild central CA??

Well, it was a fun day at the track Friday. Got there late and missed the first session. Flew off the track and broke my front air dam and ripped off one brake duct, and Oh year I blew the motor.

Is there anybody brave enough to help me rebuild this thing? I'd like to not take it to a shop this time and spend big $$$$ so if anyone wants to get payed slightly less then shop rates to help out that'd be great. It's a 3rd gen and I'm in Merced.
Thanks

I can help you pull it out, put it back in and we can send it out. Its the labor for installation that kills you sir. You know id love to wrench on your FD once again. Give me a call we can make this happen. I might be able to get a nice deal through the rx7 store on their rebuilds. call me...did i mention call me

how often are you popping these motors?

i might consider it but if they are getting killed due to the abuse or lack of supporting mods i don't think i would like to be responsible for a rebuild that is put up to those kinds of circumstances.

gawd, i can't imagine the freaking engine i could build for $11k.....

i hate pounding on other shops, Rick does great work from what i hear but you guys must be drug dealers to be throwing around that kind of cash.

the 11,000 included street port, 3mm seals, all new radiator hoses, 1300 injectors, bigger fuel pump, new fuel filter, silicon hose job, rotor housings, greddy boost controller, greddy turbo timer, greddy intercooler. it adds up fast but i am glade rick did the work it turned out great. i will be going to rick for everything i need done. he may be exspensive but he gets the work done on time and done right.

not to insult rick, but streetport, intercooler etc... and no tuning? don't step on the gas 'till you get that done!

$11K DAMN. I had my motor done by him a few years ago and got most of what you did for quite a bit less, there must have been something else you got.

I got 3mmseals, new housings, hose job rad and vac, clutch, water pump,..and some more stuff I think.

It's been a few years since I had my motor done. I don't know what happened to this one.
