even if i had been building engines for 5-6 years i wouldn't go saying i build the baddest engines around, if you do good work people will speak for you so you won't have to pump yourself up. generally everyone i met who is full of themself are quite the opposite of how they display themself to be.

in the rotary world engines are all very similar, porting can only go so far. it is mainly what you bolt onto the engine and the tuning is what matters, that said in my opinion there is no such thing as a bad *** rotary engine builder aside from doing the job right and not screwing up more than you succeed.

Didn't mean for it sound that way i was just supporting the thread, But i do agree with you on your point said above. Would be surprised what kind of porting can be done on any set of plates and housings. Alot of the crazy things done on motors that were never thought of were done in PR. But sorry for coming off so cocky

Wink

Its aight I know where I stand, and On top of that I will admit to what ever I want.
It's funny how when someone talks highly about them self and the work they can do, others take it as a sign of bragging or being stuck up. It's complete bull-**** in my opinion but then again, in this world he/she can not have there cake and eat it too. But I guess I could pat myself on the back because i have made it this far because I don't care about other people's negative comments and what he/she have to say. Why hate when people should congradulate people for there success. But what can he/she do there wil alway'sl be hater's in this world. I just sit back and laugh. You have good one.

lol

my point was if i meet someone who is full of themselves i will walk because like i said people who think too highly of themselves usually aren't all that. just my .02 i wasn't trying to make myself feel better by dumping on it, though it just sounded that way.

The guys on here that already have a reputation for doing good work have paid their dues and rightfully deserve the praise that OTHERS give them. If you want the same, do whatever you need to do to get the same reputation so others can talk about how great you are. When it comes to having people trust you with their cars, it means absolutely nothing what you think of yourself. It only matters what others think of you. If you can't understand that, you probably won't get a lot of business from forum members.

When GJ and Karack talk about building engines for a case of dew, that was when they built up their reps. Until you can build your rep, you can pat yourself on the back all you want. You just won't get the business that the respected builders get.
