i need a CHEAP car

my 7 is down, and it looks like its gonna be down for about a year while i get enough money to fix it up right.

i'm looking for any beater 4 cyl. nothing fancy just something to get me to and from work, working on a $500 budget right now. been riding the bus for the past month. i was hoping to get it ready for all the events in the summer and all the cruises but it seems like that's not gonna happen.... lets just say i'm very dissapointed. i had just recently got the RB true dual headers ....

let me know if you guys can help

I say "JUNK IT." its not appropriate for anyone to hold on to any non-running RX for more than 1 month.

This makes no sense. The average shop doesn't even finish a rebuilt in this amount of time.

i love my car too much to junk it, "F" that. i'm gonna save enough money to do a TII conversion since the motor is out. i figure i can have the car out in about a year or less so i can save up extra money to get other stuff like an exhaust and other mods i may need as well as extra like seats since i will be in the saving mood.

You could buy a late 80s early 90s Mazda 323, and later on swap in the JDM All Wheel Drive and Turbo engine..... very kool....

how funny that someone just replied tot his post. i just got myself a cheap crx from my dad's friend tow yard. seems they auction off the cars ppl don't ever come back for. i think i got a good deal considering its an si ..... i didn't buy it cuz its an si or even a crx, i got it cuz its a gas saver and will only be used for going to work and possibly making long errands seeing as how expensive the gas has gotten recently.
