How often do yall get pulled over?

I've gotten pulled once in August and once tonight. Both because the exhaust and then later commented about the tint. I got lucky with verbal warnings each time by being courteous, honest (for the most part) and probably some luck (since tonight I couldn't find my current insurance card just an expired one.)
So, would yall say this is avg?low?high?
Just curious I guess.

NEVER ever since i got rid of the junk rx-7s

Once for no front license plate. Fix it ticket. But that was probably because there were 4 FCs rolling together through Elk Grove, that got the cops attention easily.
Hopefully I don't get pulled over tommorow when I drive across town with my open header FC to the exhaust shop. I have 15% tint on the front windows so those will be rolled down for sure just in case.

DragonRx7 10-14-06 02:51 AM

Forgot about that. Since my accident last year, I haven't had a front liscense plate. Both these occasions were in Elk Grove. Maybe it's the area?

not for a while but thought SBPD was going to be a bitch tonight to me on the freeway, got on the onramp and hit about 75 when I merged then slowed back down to somewhere between 65 and 70 as usual...he comes flying up on my ass, turns on his spotlight in my mirror and just rides my ass, no red and blues, just bright ass headlights and spots...then he starts to pass me, gets halfway past, slows down then tail gated me for another 2 miles with that shit on, guess he finally got bored when i didnt do anything stupid and he dropped back about a quarter mile. Although I kinda have a get outta jail free card from going through the police academy...

When I had my 93 Camry, I was pulled over at least twice a month. I guess it was just pure bad luck. With the FD, I got the tickets that were correctly issued such as no front plate, speeding and modified exhaust. The good oh young and dumb days...glad they are over.

GUITARJUNKIE28 10-14-06 03:10 AM

never get pulled over in my beater :p:

DragonRx7 10-14-06 03:13 AM

I'm glad I'm only visiting out here and get to go back to TX (where they don't care as much) in December. It is nice out here though. Maybe I just need a less conspicuous car.

raptor22 10-14-06 03:39 AM

When I drive my 7, the average is at least once a week, sometimes more.

Only once was I given a ticket, since most of the time the cops were just being assholes. The time I did get a ticket there were people passing in the left lane going at least 10+ mph faster, and he picked me out.

I have been driving for 3 years, and the first 2.5 years were in a beat up old nissan pickup. I got pulled over twice in the period. In the 6 months since I got my RX-7 (red) I have been pulled over more times than I can count.

It's the yellow car. I used to get pulled over at least once a year in my red FB. Since I bought the white FD, I have been pulled over only one time in five years. I deserved a ticket that time, but didn't get one.

I've never been pulled over in this State. However I live in PHX and not CA :) You can almost do whatever you want here...

shadow7 10-14-06 02:43 PM

No worries about the car your driving i've never gotten stopped in my fc i got a really loud exhaust , tinted windows, no plate in front, and go around 75-80 on the freeway most of the time and never gotten stopped. But check this out, i got my beater which is a 93 beat up to hell red accord with a blue fender and a green door and a black spoiler and have gotten stopped three times in a time period of 2 months going at about 60-65. First bull bull shit excuse was the front red led lights i had that threw water on the windshield, second was the tint, trust me , they weren't even dark, and third i went to the bank and i was talking on the phone as i realized i didnt have my bank card so i left then came back so some police agent just stops me because of my suspicious behavior, and of course that probably involved my Fcked up car being suspicious as well. i live in spring valley. sherriff department seems to be the worst.

I almost never get pulled in my seven. Just every once and a while when the cop gets a stick up there butt.

Now on my bike I get pulled at least once a week. But I would say its more like twice a week. That is when I dont run. Never recived a ticket on a bike yet though.

Dinnercoat 10-16-06 03:15 AM

Been pulled over once, and it turned out he wasn't even actually pulling me over.
