It's a great place to step up your skills with a lot of legal seat-time. This is precision driving at it's finest. There will be 2 run groups; one Gymkhana and one Drift. This will be American-Style Gymkhana w/ 2 cars running on the track. Remember, only 20 drivers means that you get A LOT of seat time.

Tell us more about Gymkhana.

 

It's basically like an autocross, but much more aggressive, with a much tighter course. It's basically anything goes to get around the course as fast as you can...which means if there is a very tight donut, sliding your car around it instead of gripping it may be faster for you. Some gymkhanas even include stop boxes; I don't have access to youtube here, but type in caterham gymkhana...an example of an amazing driver on a super tight gymkhana course. Our course will probably not be nearly as tight, but you get the picture. I don't think we will be utilizing stop boxes either.

We are also running it American Style...Which means head-to-head with 2 mirrored courses. Fastest one around the course advances. In addition to gymkhana, we will also have a seperate drift run group.

**** son, I'm thinking about it. Events like these are always good to help with car control, and I haven't pushed the FD chassy to its limits yet, so it'll def help me.

 

Yeah, i can tell you that you will learn a lot. We are limiting it to 20 drivers, which will mean tons of seat time for each person.
