Which fuel Injection Service to use?

In your guys opinion, which cleaning service would you use to have injectors cleaned flow tested and balanced? Rc enterprises or witchhunters in Wa? Not concerned with how long it takes, just the results. Thanks for your feedback.

I would use RC or witchhunter. WH is less than half the price of RC. And they did a good job.

RX-Heven 02-01-06 12:36 AM

2nd for Witchhunter.

3rd, i've used them twice, no complaints here.

RotaryEvolution 02-03-06 07:41 AM

i have heard a few stories of injectors sticking after being serviced by RCE, i have heard no complaints about witchhunter and i have referred people to them before.

witchhunter

Thanks for the input guys. I sent them off to them after talking to him on the phone. Seemed
like a good person to do businees with.

this is the 3rd time this week someone's done this to me.

i don't mind answering questions in pm's, but why bother asking me if you're not going to listen? now you just had a bunch of other guys say the same thing i told you.

Hey Dave, who do you suggest for injector cleaning services? :naughty:

GUITARJUNKIE28 02-03-06 01:57 PM

brakecleen :)

ReZ311 02-03-06 03:14 PM

I'll clean them for you. $100 each.

SmogSUX 02-03-06 06:12 PM

http://cruzinperformance.com/

They did mine and shipped them back fast. Provided papers with the flow results and the injectors looked new and all worked great. They didn't cost very much either :D

RotaryEvolution 02-03-06 06:18 PM

carb cleaner works better than brake cleaner you noob!

GUITARJUNKIE28 02-03-06 08:26 PM

nope!!

carb cleaner leaves that oily residue, but zest err...uhhh, brakecleen, rinses clean away :)

i should give you a few pics of the apparatus i built for injector cleaning. worked great!

Wahhhh!!!!! As you remember you gave me 2 as references, i just wanted to know which out of the 2 was the better choice. the guys answered that for me. See if you just gave me 1 choice then i would not have taken a poll.
See if i knew this i could of paid you with CHEESE for the Fd cooler so it would go with your whine,LOL........ Got the cooler today, thanks. :rlaugh:

GUITARJUNKIE28 02-03-06 08:49 PM

welcome. hope it works out.

i just don't understand why you didn't just post up first, instead of asking me, then posting up.

Because i was pm'ing you about the cooler and it came across my mind at the time.
Then when you mentioned 2, i figured i'd let my fellow rotor-heads give me feed-back on their expeiences. Nothing personal, meaning not that i didn't trust your input but remember
2 heads are better than 1.

GUITARJUNKIE28 02-03-06 09:05 PM

if you use rc, make sure you use the injectors right away. if you let them sit, whatever solvent they use gets gummy. i've seen 3 or 4 fresh rc injectors stick open.

Thanks for the tip, if the cleaning job from withchunters goes good i am going to send them my other set of 680cc se's and even have them do my mithsubishi ones also. That's if i ever get off my old a__ and put the eclipse back together. Sh__, it's only been apart 8 months,lol...

RotaryEvolution 02-03-06 10:15 PM

carburetor cleaner gets carbon and deposits off much quicker and easier than brakleener does, brakleen cleans the residue carb cleaner leaves behind. OMG! didn't they teach you this stuff in shop class? DUH! :rlaugh:

GUITARJUNKIE28 02-03-06 10:29 PM

you wanna have a head to head comparison?
