im quite confused. why dont you have a sunroof? didnt the car come with one>? it shouldt be too hard.

olliecup 04-29-05 01:47 AM

long story short....someone tried to break into it and left the drivers side door handle damaged and ripped my sunroof off of the brackets. Harsh way to break into the car man. I'm not too DIY saavy so thats why i was asking for help.

I say JUNK IT and buy a honda. Owning a RX requires mucho dinero if ur not a DIY person. get rid of that junk before you put more money into it.

BTW: I offer free towing service.

Nobody wants to make a few extra bucks?

Bob_The_Normal 05-01-05 02:25 PM

I'd say yes... but you live like an hour away, that's a long drive... why can't you get it installed yourself? If you have a replacement one you just pull off the old one and bolt in the new one?

It seems to me it may be a little more complicated then that. I'm sure its not too hard of a job but it may be time consuming. A shop down here is trying to charge me an arm and a leg so I was seeing if anyone on the board could use a little extra cash and me learn a thing or two at the same time.

Bob_The_Normal 05-03-05 02:58 AM

I can do it for you if you drive out here... I'm always poor lol.

It's not time consuming... even if I take my time and be real careful not to damage the roof lining and everything it'd probably only take me two hours.

Just to be sure you mean replacing a stock with a stock one right?

I don't think I'd be able to cut a hole in the roof and install an aftermarket sunroof in two hours. ;D
