East bay help pls!

Hello Everyone!

I have 2 rx7s that I need some help on this Saturday (February 27, 2010).

The 1st car: Supposedly, 1 just needs the front driver's side brake rotor, there's a good chance it will need a replacement spindle as well.

The 2nd car: I'll be needing help putting on an entire rear suspension.

-Tools and jacks will be available, but it doesn't hurt to bring your goodies in case mine suck.
-The location is San Leandro and Fremont.
-San Leandro has the parts I need for both cars and the location of the car needing a rear suspension. The parts will be taken off a shell at the same location.
-The 2nd car (which only needs a rotor, probably a spindle, and a new battery) is located in Fremont.

I'd be happy to dive into the labor myself, but unfortunately I've learned in the past that my girly arms just aren't always strong enough.
Lunch and beers on me! PM me or comment below if interested, this is not a party or free for all of labor for food and booze I only need 1 other person, 2 if I think you're cool!

Pics to come! PM for details and addresses.

finishline 02-26-10 12:24 PM

weak. have fun though!

RicerJ 02-26-10 12:43 PM

rear suspension is easy but a pain due to location of the mounting bolts up top

Renton 02-26-10 02:58 PM

^ Yeah, removing speakers sucks....

are you just doing shocks or parts of the subframe? Linkage? explain.

RicerJ 02-26-10 03:24 PM

trying to keep 20+ year old plastics in good shape makes it a pain and i was talking about the bolt locations more than the plastics or speakers

Damzil 02-26-10 05:45 PM

It's the whole rear suspension for one car. The other car is just a brake rotor, spindle, and battery. The second one should be a breeze, I don't know how badly rusted on the bolts are on the shell I'll be raping so that's where some manly arms will come in handy.

Anyone up for a day or rx7s lunch and some beers?!?!?!?!

RicerJ 02-26-10 06:08 PM

why dont you just steal the parts you need from your shell and put them on the one you are going to get

Damzil 02-26-10 07:22 PM

my car is a 4 lug, the car that needs the rotor is a 5 lug, futher more the parts car (which is a 5 lug) and the other car i'm restoring is about 10 ft from each other.

someone to help? like physically be there not metaphorically online like ricerj...
