CHP Mobile Smog Station in Ventura Co.
 

I just rode my bike by a Mobile Smog station that CHP had on the side of the rode. The had a Dyno and had 2 cars parked in line.:(

It was on harbor blvd in Oxnard by the Mandalay inn.

How do these surveys affect consumers?
Participation in the survey is voluntary. There are no consequences to consumers, regardless of their vehicle's emission control equipment or its emission levels. At the conclusion of the inspection, the participants receive a Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) detailing the results of the test.

It's not as.easy as you think. Forced, surprise smog tests would be a turkey shoot for civil liberties lawyers.
