Birthday go-karting today 4:00pm, Ontario
 

So I'm 30 today and going go-karting at K1 Speed Ontario this afternoon if anyone wants in. I'll have my 7 out (which is finally back on the road after a bunch of intake tract work). It dynoed at 462 rwhp yesterday.

K1 is normally $20 per 6-7 minute race, but I have a coupon attached so anyone who wants can get “buy one get one free”

Plan on doing at least two races, however I should mention that last time I was there with a similar coupon I managed to talk my way into using the same discount twice and ran four sessions. That’ll be plenty to leave most folks feeling pretty tired by the end of it. Naturally, you’re free to just come and hang out, bring a date, a spouse, your kids (4’10” minimum if they want to drive), your next door neighbor… pretty much whatever works for you.

We’ll meet at K1 Ontario at 4:00 pm Saturday, hang out for two/three hours (you spend a good bit of time watching others), and then find some dinner.

It’ll be pretty casual so feel free to come and go as you need to. No worries if you can’t make it, but it should be fun if you do. If you shoot me a PM I'll send you my cell digits. K1 has helmets you can borrow for free but you can bring your own if you prefer.
