Last deposit is in! Thanks everyone. I will get in touch with Steve shortly to figure out the next steps. Tentatively, I'm thinking the tune date will be around the beginning of March, but I will know more after talking with him. I'll keep you guys posted.

If any others are still interested in a tune, we may still be able to fit you in... but obviously the first 5 on the list are given priority.

1. Ericsworld - FD3S RX-7 / PowerFC / Single (Deposit Paid!)
2. fdware - FD / PowerFC / Single (Deposit Paid!)
3. killjoy7 - FD / PowerFC-Datalogit / Stage 3 BNR's (Deposit Paid!)
4. tnn - FD / PowerFC / Twin99 (Deposit Paid!)
5. Billet c/o ColdFeet - FD / PowerFC-Datalogit / Stock with WI (Deposit Paid!)

Update! I mailed Steve a check with all the deposit money ($1000 total).

Once he receives it, he will book his flight and we should be good to go for the MARCH 1-3 WEEKEND.

Just saw this. Can you squeeze me in as well, Ericsworld? I'm sure Steve would like to tune as many cars as possible while he's out there. I can give you a deposite as well once you confirm the date.

It's my 20B Porsche 911, with Electromotive Tec3r and WI. Please let me know.

Steve is going to call Tech3 again to work out the details. I'm going to call around at a few other shops too so we can compare the rates, but it may end up being Tech3 in SJ. It should be on a Saturday. I'll update more once things are more finalized.

I spoke to Steve and he said it depends on the dyno place as well, to see if we can get a 2-day dyno rental. If the shop is willing to extend a day, we should be able to fit you in. Otherwise, he said we need at least 8 people to take up a 2-day dyno.

It will be more of a guarantee if we can get 2 more people on top of yourself interested in this tune.

I was thinking about letting people pick the times during the day they wish to come in for the tune, according to the order of deposits or whatever works out.

The times below are still tentative, but tunes should start at 9AM with 2 hour intervals...

1. 9AM
2. 11AM
3. 1PM
4. 3PM
5. 5PM

I'd take the earliest possible (9am?). Wife and kids would prefer i'm not gone all day.

Prefer the 11am slot, but anything but the 9am slot works for us

That works for me.

It looks like this tune may most likely stretch into a 2-day session at Tech3. Steve may have a couple other cars outside of our list to tune at Tech3 while there.

With that said, I will PM those 2 looking join for deposit details.

The first 5 on the list will still have priority in choosing the times... so if you'd like to come on Sunday instead, please note it.

Cool. Thanks, Eric. I just sent a deposit to Steve. So count me in, I guess I can get in on Sunday? I'd prefer to take the 11am or 1pm spot on Sunday.

I took care of the deposit with Steve Kan. I prefer the last slot if possible on any day, but the original five can have their pick first. Thanks Eric for helping us get in the tune.

Yep, I'll double check with him soon. But I confirmed with him beforehand and he said he could take 2 more people for sure to make it a double day.

Does anyone feel like tuning on Sunday? Otherwise here's the schedule!

SATURDAY:

1. 9am - killjoy7
2. 11am - ColdFeet
3. 1pm - Ericsworld
4. 3pm - tnn
5. 5pm - fdware

SUNDAY:

1. 11am - chohakai
2. 5pm - kevyeewy

Lastly, Steve let me know that his flight is booked and we are a go for Tech3. They offered the best rate so I guess we'll have to stick with them...

Correct.

Still the March 2-3rd weekend @ Tech3 in San Jose

I've been looking into securing a lodging for Steve and I think I found someone willing to help.

NOTE!!! Please show up an hour before your allotted time. The straight forward tunes should take about 2 hours, but more complicated set ups will require more time. If a car needs excess time to get tuned, it will get bumped back to the end so the rest of the list can proceed.

So what about Rtek tuning? BNR Stage 2 with water injection, 750/720, Walbro. Would love to have my car tuned by the best.
