Limped the car home last night from qualcomm on a dead alternator. Working today and fixing the car tonight. See you all at Miramar next month.

 

Sorry I had to take off before lunch - work has been pretty demanding the last couple of months. Hopefully I can make it to the drive tomorrow.

Hey everyone, I'm new to San Diego and this forum. Names Ben, and I bet you never would have guessed it. I would have come out today but my car wasn't up for it, found out this morning the both my clutch fork and release bearing are broken. I strolled through the parking lot though with my brother (boosted Protege) and gawked at all the cars. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out to the next one. I'm eager to learn all I can about these cars, this is my first FD, I previously owned an FC about two years ago. Thats all for now I guess. well great meet guys, drive home sucked though, ****** CHP got me for 85 in a 65 up near carlsbad by cannon road. so it looks like a 70 dollar fine plus penalty assesment or something, so if i read it right i think my ticket is like 266 bucks or something, dunno gotta call them monday...
man that SUCKS!!!!

wow wtf that sucks mike. On my way back everyone was going 85+ and even a zipped passed me at probably 100. That's real fucked up man. nice seeing what was left of everyone opon my late arrival.

on the ticket he gave you there should be a vehicle code. a series of numbers (like 5 of them iirc) and then "vc". whats the number?

depending on which of the 2 speeding codes he wrote you for you might be able to easily get out of it.

and god how i wish my tickets cost $260. every time i get a speeding ticket even if its for 2mph over i pay over $500. it blows.

another suggestion is go to talk to mitchell mehedy (mr ticket) pay him $100 and he will handle it for you.

I took off early to catch some import sportcompact drag racing at Barona Drag Strip...Good times Rene from "RMS" was out there helping another person in a dragged out first gen 13b turbo get some times on the track but it was a no go all day...So to say the least it needed to get all the kinks worked out...The hondas on the other hand were throwing it down firday night and saturday night as if there like depended on it...WOW...just ******* WOW...and that 5 second grand national thats all i have to say about that ****...
