Anyone in So Cal have a Vert Rollbar made by Kirk Racing
installed in their Vert? If so, I'd like to check out your car personally. Especially as it affects seating.
I'm in Chino Hills, but get around the general Los Angeles area regularly. So can meet at your convenience. Thanks |

Bring your Kirk Racing'd Vert to Autobacs tomorrow |
aren't roll cages illegal on street? and harnesses too?
|
Roll cages are roll bars aren't. Also most cops will let you go on harnesses there still technically a safety restraint.

Great info. I always wanted some kind of protection bars around me but I always thought them and harnesses are illegal on the street

That's probably because they can't see that high up!;)
|
HOZZ.. you have any pics of this rollbar?
|
Good shots of the bar, albeit it's been modified from Kirks original design. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=kirk+racing
Non-modified shots. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=kirk+racing |
That must be a tight fit, and the top even works! I have enough trouble moving my seats back up in order to put the top up OR down.
Having something ala RB Miata style hoops wouldn't be too bad, only thing is it's non functional. |

So they quoted you $125 for shipping, right?
I asked them about shipping two bars and they told be about $275  I thought it'd be cheaper... |
Thought I'd bump this up one more time as I'd really really like to test fit how I fit with one of these things.
