EVERY repeat location that was not affected by weather or date change had an increase in attendance from the year before. The first event of 2010 will mark the 100th IFO since 2001! FWD $1200 - slicks/open exhaust/gutted OK - by SPEC clutches and flywheels
FORCED INDUCTION PRO $1000 - slicks/open exhaust/gutted OK - by Secret Services
FORCED INDUCTION SPORT $300 - full int. street cars only - by Go-Autoworks.com
ALL MOTOR PRO $500 - open exhaust/gutted OK - presented by Hybrid Racing
ALL MOTOR SPORT $300 - full int. street cars only - by Central Performance
OUTLAW $500 - anything goes - presented by Cobb Tuning
BRACKET $200 - any import/sport compact
TEST AND TUNE - any make/model welcome including bikes and domestics

EVENT PRICES
Spectator $15 with flier (reg 17) ok to print flier above off computer
Car show competitor $25 - Racer $25 (competition or test and tune)

2010 RACE POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP presented by LightningMotorsports.com - The Import Face-Off Race Points Championship is for Heads Up Pro class racers only. Racers will receive 10 points for every elimination round won at each 2010 event. Winners will be chosen for Top 8/16 qualifier classes (FWD or FIP) and for Top 4/8 qualifier classes (AMP/OL) for 5 different colored regions (see map below). All race points winners will receive trophy plus free race and crew entry (limit 3) to all future IFO events FOR LIFE! All trophies will be awarded at finals. Overall national winner will also receive a $2000 Lightning Motorsports certificate. More prizes for individual regions and classes to be announced throughout the year. 2010 SHOW POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP: The Import Face-Off Show Points Championship is for Car Clubs only, not solo entries. Car clubs will receive 10 points for each Best Club Representation (not Participation) award won at each 2010 event. Winners will be chosen for 5 different colored regions (see map). Winners will receive trophy plus club feature in the February, 2011 issue of PAS magazine.

the influence of tuning styles on the cars would be ALOT Better.. alot of those cars are butt ugly because of horrible selection in parts/taste .. ever watch those Nopi shows and see how crappy alot of those cars are. Its probably the lack of asian influence on the builds.

no events in cali yet because no drag strip openings now, hopefully 2011. also, not as many cali drag events because of the usual low turnout and attitude (see posts above). NHRA SC and NDRA both tried cali in the past, both failed. Hopefully IFO will succeed in cali if/when a track opening ever comes up.

The scene is not dying, the consistently growing IFO series is proof of that.

Yes, the IFO series ALWAYS pays out, 90+ events strong since 2001.

You youngins dont even know.. Cali was the one that started all of these things back in the days they blew up cause of battle of imports and T.I.

Just got back (left early the misses needed to be somewhere). It was ok... really small and not a whole lot to do other than look at a couple cars in the show or watch the drag event. I had a good time though. These two third gens were in the show and there was a second gen drag racing. These people on the forums?

nice. I got the video of you kicking the crap out of the EVO lol. I dont think I got any of the other ones though. Ill get it posted when I can. Its a little shacky towards the end when im trying to zoom in on the time boards. Had to move around some people so I could see it.

Well the video is a .mts file and I havent been able to find a free converter that will let me do the whole video. So its will take me a little while longer to get it up :(

Hey J-Rat. I cant get it cut down and converted so just PM me your email if you want it and Ill send it to you if I can. Same thing for anyone else who wants it. Hopefully its not to big to email since its an HD video but it isnt very long so I dont see why it would be.

Did nt even think about looking at you sig :uh: I spent most of the time at the drag competition because I have a friend that was running in T/T. I was looking for you though since we talked together before. I was just pissed my 7 was stuck in the garage, stupid oil pan... Lol
